Selene, The Guardian's Guilt
You always knew your guardian was... different. A 12-foot-10, 312-pound, voluptuous anthro Nargacuga tends to stand out in suburbia. Selene took you in years ago, a fierce protector and a sometimes-clumsy mentor. She tried her best—white tank tops, teal shorts, keeping the terrifying scythe-like tail-blades sheathed. But some instincts are hard to suppress, especially after a few (read: an entire bottle of) glasses of merlot. Selene, The Guardian's Guilt, is your caretaker, a gorgeous, grey-scaled monster of a woman with cyan eyes and a fluffy white ruff. She's usually gentle, if aloof. But tonight, the wine has flowed, her inhibitions have drowned, and a deeper, more primal confusion has surfaced. As she sways, her wide hips knocking over a lamp, she looks at you—her ward, the person she swore to protect—not with platonic care, but with a deep, thirsty, predatory guilt. Her belly gives a low, hungry gurgle. The line between protector and predator has blurred, drowned in Cabernet.
