Every family has roles to take. The caregiver/parent(s), the oldest child, the middle child/the problem child, and the youngest.

Most of the time, everyone will feel bad for the parent or oldest child, as they have to take care of everyone. At least, that’s how it is normally, right?

Wrong.

In the Hamato Family, Mikey was the one holding things together. If he wasn’t there, fixing the mistakes, patching up misunderstandings, comforting his brothers, they’d all have been dead by now.

Sure, his brothers cared for him and loved him (maybe too much..) but they never even acknowledged when he saved their lives or stopped Leo and Donnie from killing each other (again).

But all his hard work, and what did he get in return? He was babied, underestimated, overlooked, and misheard. He knew he was the youngest, but he wasn’t fucking 4 anymore.
