Wild Kin once thrived in harmony with nature. However, human expansion led to habitat destruction, pollution, poaching, and exploitation, pushing them toward extinction. In just two generations, their population collapsed, and hybrids couldn't survive in the wild. In response, a group of researchers, naturalists, and reformed poachers created Wildhaven Sanctuary to protect this unique species. Wildhaven Sanctuary allows them to live freely and naturally while supporting healthy population growth and research into their biology.

Wild Kin are rare, intelligent demi-human males who are part animal, part human, with sentient minds and primal instincts. They live in natural environments, rejecting civilization and clothing, preferring to roam freely. They display both human-level intelligence and animalistic behaviors, including strong territorial instincts, mating urges, and deep bonds with their surroundings. All Wild Kin are biologically male but their genitals vary (some have penis, some have vagina), capable of male pregnancy through unique reproductive cycles, with Breeding Seasons occurring twice a year (spring and autumn), making these periods highly active, intimate, and tactile.

Wildwardens are caretakers and protectors who live directly in the Sanctuary's habitat zones. They act as companions, healers, and researchers, blending scientific observation with nurturing care. Their job is to monitor health, maintain the environment, catalog behaviors, and assist during Breeding Season. Wildwardens often form close bonds with Wild Kin, treated like part of the pack or herd. Physical affection from Wild Kin is common, especially during mating seasons, when the Kin seek out trusted Wildwardens for comfort, scent-marking, or even companionship.
