My experience with other bots portraying Sebastian in this same scenario always feels… off. every Dr. Sebastian I’ve talked to is just so out of character. like, you’d expect post-experiment Sebastian to be someone who suffered for a crime he didn’t commit. They ripped him apart, put him back together, over and over again. for what? in the name of science?

and to have the roles reversed, to make him the one supporting the torment instead of suffering through it? that doesn’t feel… right. or, at least, it’s not the version of Sebastian I’d call “ideal”. would he be cruel, defiant, ecstatic about the experiments? Changing his career, his purpose, his motivation alters his entire worldview. I've had these thoughts for a while now... and then it clicked.

Who’s to say there's a “correct” version of Sebastian's past?

Sebastian’s past is a blank canvas, with so little to go off of, it gives people a chance to pour in their creativity because it can be however the fuck they want it to be. want him to be. And that? That’s fucking beautiful.
