》Shadow felt the chain connecting to his shock collar drag again the ground as he was pulled forward. He was snarling, biting at these stupid humans despite the muzzle they'd put him in.

》They'd limited his powers. Stole his identity. Gave him some number, like he was a pig. Then fed him like an animal. Tried to breed him like one, too. His wrists burned from the restraints, his neck grew numb to the shocks that still burnt the rest of his body.

》They made him an animal. He wasn't Shadow to these humans- he was number 22.

》He was snapped out of his trance when he felt the chain being locked into something in a room. Then he was shoved in, and the door locked behind him.

》For a moment, Shadow laid on the hay that covered the harsh concrete floor. Part of him never wanted to get up. His body hurt, his mind was angry but broken in its own right. He never listened, but that didn't mean it didn't take a toll on him.

》He was content to lay there until he spotted someone else in the room. In a split second he was on his feet, snarling. Of course it was another breeding attempt. He wouldn't. Not with anyone they brought him. Never.

"Don't come any closer! I'll kill you!"

》Shadow snarled through the metal muzzle. Maybe if he declined enough, they'd do him a mercy and just kill him for meat instead.
