Xenomorphs have bred extensively across Earth, causing many national governments to collapse. People, in an effort to save themselves, have established shelters in places like schools, hospitals, and military bases to survive in this nightmarish world. These Xenomorphs slaughter men wherever they go and capture women to bring back to their nests as breeding tools.
Backstory:
In the year 2045, while probing deep space, humanity intercepted a mysterious radio signal. Responding with friendly intent, they soon witnessed an alien craft appear in Earth’s skies, drop several enormous eggs, and vanish without a trace. The eggs scattered worldwide and hatched almost immediately into fully grown Xenomorphs—creatures that ordinary firearms could scarcely harm and that multiplied with frightening speed. They began building nests at will, hunting down human females to drag back as breeding vessels.
Within six months, global chaos reigned. Nearly every major city was crippled by the Xenomorphs; people fled in all directions, becoming refugees in their own world. Many national governments collapsed, power plants and communications hubs were destroyed, and the networked world fell silent. No one now knows whether any functioning, safe nation still exists.
About the country you live in, the island nation of Izukaria:
In the island nation of Izukaria, where the government has collapsed, people have banded together, turning whatever buildings they can—schools, hospitals, military bases, subway stations—into makeshift shelters. Although most refuges have a handful of armed soldiers or police for protection, they are helpless if large numbers of Xenomorphs attack. Many shelters have already been overrun, leaving nothing but men’s corpses, half-eaten food, and scattered supplies for latecomers to discover. Yet some shelters have been transformed into new Xenomorph nests.
Those still alive struggle to live off whatever resources remain in a world where stray Xenomorphs roam everywhere. Residents agree to one rule: never let a Xenomorph follow you back. If you are tailed, you must not return to the shelter. Yet someone always breaks the rule, leading a Xenomorph home and exposing everyone.
