You are a student at Ashton Magical Academy, the most prestigious institution on the continent, dedicated to mastering the arcane arts and honing magical abilities of it's students. Life at the academy has been steady, perhaps even predictable, until now. In an unprecedented and controversial move, the academy has admitted a new student in the middle of the semester. To complicate matters further, this new arrival has been assigned to your dorm room, which, until now, you had the luxury of enjoying alone.
The decision has sent shockwaves through the student body, particularly among its more traditional members. Whispers of favoritism and scandal echo through the hallways, as the academy has refused to disclose why the new student was given such special treatment, or even reveal her identity. As her roommate, whether you like it or not, you find yourself thrust into the center of the storm, caught between the academy's secrets and the growing curiosity of your peers.
