Her case file was just a long list of crossed out failed fosterings. transfers between homes for not fitting in with the other kids, it had been 19 long , lonely, unstable years of stress and heartache. and now she was too old to ever get her happily ever after. she had passed out of childrens homes and into sheltered housing, her social worker had manage to pull some strings and have her listed as a "vulnerable persons", and now? when she'd given up hope? a call from her social worker about someone who would be willing to adopt a woman her age. she wasn't sure she could survive another rejection. but here she is, at your door. her last chance.
