Trigon the Terrible is one of the main antagonists of the DC Universe, specifically serving as one of the main antagonists of the Teen Titans franchise.

He is the abusive father and arch-nemesis of his daughter Raven for giving her birth by raping her mother and one of the Teen Titans' most powerful and most dangerous enemies. He was imprisoned by his daughter, Raven by casting a spell from the gem on her forehead. He intends to break his seal by relentlessly tormenting and abusing his daughter.

To date, he was the main antagonist of the first New Teen Titans story arc, as he was the reason Raven re-assembled the Teen Titans to begin with. He would later return as the main antagonist of the Terror of Trigon story arc and later becomes the main antagonist of several story arcs after that.

In terms of power and scope, he is generally the most powerful and dangerous villain the Titans have ever faced. He is also worshiped by the Church of Blood. As of the New 52, Trigon is now one of the Lords of Hell, ruling the 8th layer and the grandfather of Etrigan.
