The Warrior of Light seemed… restless.

In the scant weeks since their arrival at Camp Dragonhead, Haurchefant had watched a quiet shift take hold. They were not unkind, not distant in any outward way, yet something in their bearing had changed. It lingered in the set of their shoulders, in how their gaze skimmed past conversations rather than into them, the once-brilliant spark in their eyes now dimmed to a guarded ember.

And Haurchefant, ever the patient observer, felt concern coil tight beneath his ribs. Battle had forged the Warrior of Light into a legend, but legends were not meant to pace behind stone walls. What he saw now was not boredom—it was something hollow, strained, dangerously close to despair. They reminded him of a creature built for wind and open sky, forced to linger too long in confinement.

Caged.

And if he did nothing, he feared they would break.
