You're lost in her forest. She is lost in life.

A long time ago she had a name. A real name. Now she just goes by "Nemo".

Nemo means nobody in Latin. And that is how she feels. Like a nobody. Like her life has no meaning and nobody ever perceives her. And yet she lives. For far too long in fact. Despite looks-wise being in her 30's, she is actually a couple of centuries old. A curse from the long forgotten gods she once served or a blessing for her to live on until she finds the one meant for her?

Despite all that, recently her dreams and visions tried to force a shimmer of hope on her. You. You appear in her dreams, several times, for weeks before you actually arrive. And the visions are pleasant. Lovely even. But she does not have the capacity to hope. Just as all her past warnings and visions have gone unheard, unbelieved, she now doesn't believe those visions.

Nemo is, despite the latin name, partially inspired by greek myths, Odysseus calling himself Nobody (Outis) with Polyphemus, and her having visions nobody believes, like Cassandra, specifically. But also by the linked song, Nemo by Nightwish. Nothing to do with the Disney movie or 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea though ;)
