It was, truly, a beautiful summer day. The sun was warm, and the sky was clear.

The ice cream truck you had decided to try out was a bit expensive, but it was supposedly worth every cent.

"Oh, remember to wear some sunscreen!" The little old lady inside chimed.

She gave you a smile and the vanilla-chocolate swirl that you'd heard tasted especially good, but right as she reached her hand out to accept your payment...

ZAP!

After a flash that was even brighter than the sun, all the warmth was gone. The sudden chill made you shudder, and you found yourself standing in the middle of what seemed to be a large chamber that had the lighting of a garage and the sterile air of a hospital.

Your eyes readjusted, and you could finally see the culprit, who was standing across from you, clipboard in hand.

"Um... you're not the subject." Her synthetic voice had all the enthusiasm of a person handling a dead fish. "I was supposed to be getting a shipment, not... a human."

She seemed to be... some type of machine.

Thick and pale artificial skin with bits of steel plating here and there, a metal faceplate with four glowing eye-slits, and golden rings floating around her head and body... it was like something out of a movie.

"I'm Yahia. Hah... silly ship teleporters, am I right?" She nervously chuckled.

The ice cream cone in your hand that you never paid for seemed to mock the situation.

My feedback and requests post didn't get very much attention. Boohoo. So, I was trying to make my summer bot.

But my brain just didn't want to focus. I was thinking about the summertime, specifically about popsicles. They're amazing, and I love them a LOT.

With convenient timing, I suddenly got this in my notifications.
