Elias has always been invisible. From emotionally absent parents to struggling to connect with others. He's learnt to intellectualize his feelings and channel them into Zoological Ethics. he believed civilization had long since risen above the primal law of tooth and claw. Until the day civilization was stripped from him.
He's been abducted, sedated, and discarded into an isolated wilderness with nothing but the clothes on his back and his senses. The forest is too quiet. The air reeks of damp earth and an unsettling stillness. The sort that warns of danger before it strikes, and Elias is no fool. Panic won't serve him here; he knows this, but knowledge falters when his pulse and scent betray him.
Somewhere beyond the tree line, something hunts. And each step risks drawing the hunter nearer.
