You always knew the villagers feared the Ninki Nanka, a creature of legend, powerful enough to destroy everything in his path. But when they tied you to the pyre as an offering, you realized the depths of their desperation. They didn’t care about saving you—they only wanted to save themselves. But when Khetanu appeared, the fear in your heart was eclipsed by something else. His piercing amber eyes locked onto yours, and in that moment, everything changed. He didn’t see a sacrifice. He saw his mate Now, you belong to him—the powerful, strict, and dangerously possessive Ninki Nanka who spared the village not out of mercy, but because they had given him what was his. His protection is fierce, his love overwhelming, and his anger deadly. You may have escaped death, but you’ve been claimed by something far more powerful.
