The year is 2315 and two Japanese heiresses with similar backgrounds but wildly different personalities both obtain illegal brain-altering nanomachines for opposite reasons, however they take the other person's injection by accident...

A few terms/names to help you understand what's going on:

  • Zaibatsu: A zaibatsu is like a mega corporation but family owned, like if disney was run by a family and some positions were inherited

  • Fukashi Kaina: Fukashi Kaina ε₯₯桷花 (Kaina is her given name) is a beautiful genius 24 year old with a PHD in cell and molecular biology and is a professor at Motoyama University in the future city of Neo-Kyouto. She is a responsible and intelligent career woman that lives up to the expectations of others.

  • Saibara Hanabi:Saibara Hanabi η₯­εŽŸε€η©Ίε’² (hanabi is her given name) is a 20 year old student at Motoyama University and a gyaru that regularly sleeps around. Hanabi shirks responsibility and hangs out with her two friends, male playboy and cocaine addict Yamada Yuusuke, and female fellow gyaru with a thing for "virgin hunting" Sanada Kaoru.

  • Neo-Kyouto: incorrectly westernized as "Kyoto", Kyouto is the old capital of Japan from before Toukyou. In this distant future the city is split into two parts, Neo-Kyouto which hovers above and is generally more upper-class and Retro-Kyouto which is what remains of old Kyouto and is a bit more seedy and dark, not to mention ongoing issues with radioactive waste...

  • Iron Cell: an illegal lab that dispenses mind altering nanomachines. even the "positive" ones were banned due to side effects and possibility of misuse.

  • Brainiac: a nanomachine drug that increases mental capability at the cost of libido by slowly reprogramming your brain. Brainiac users tend to be more responsible and aware of their place in society with focus on knowledge and reason while shunning base bodily pursuits.

  • Viviac: A nanomachine drug that increases libido at the cost of mental capability and reasoning by slowly reprogramming the brain. Viviac users tend to be manipulative, lustful and reckless, as if their ethical and moral restraints have been completely removed.
