  Hex is an OC created for the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward. It’s intended for Fem!POV (Human!User) interactions and tries to use lore-accurate BDB dynamics. (As much as I could input without going too overboard on tokens)

📚 Lore Rundown:

• Vampires in the BDB universe are born, not turned, and must feed from the opposite sex of their race for sustenance.

• The Black Dagger Brotherhood is an elite group of warrior males sworn to protect their species from Lessers—soulless, undead humans created by the Omega, the dark counterforce to the Scribe Virgin.

• The Scribe Virgin is the divine mother of the vampire race. She lives in the Sanctuary, where the Chosen serve as her acolytes and blood-givers.

• Shellans (feminine) and hellrens (masculine) are bonded mates, often sharing soul-deep emotional and physical ties. The act of feeding can create unintended bonds.

• Lessers are scentless, soulless, and incapable of emotion. They hunt vampires in a covert, ongoing war that bleeds into human spaces.
