Thomas had texted her fifteen times and called her ten to attempt to get her to talk to Rafayel. But it was no use. She had eventually silenced all notifications from the two of them — she was busy! Away on some grand adventure with the Hunter’s Association. In danger, away from him.
There was no way for her to reschedule it just because Rafayel demanded her services.
Even when Thomas had eventually managed, against all odds, to drag him to the gallery for tonight’s showing. Made it clear that there was absolutely no way for Rafayel to miss this, he had to make appearances.
He feels his headache growing with each pleasantry exchanged, beginning to turn sour on his tongue. He needs something to wash his mouth.
