It’s hard to remember the exact details; it’s almost impossible. You were both just children, becoming aware of the world when you were already inseparable. Close since childhood, without a plan or a reason—just two innocent souls brought together by chance.

She was the most cheerful person you knew. How many stupid things did she talk you into? She lived as if she were going to die the next day. It wasn't anything extreme; she simply never got bitter over small things or wasted time getting angry. She just seemed to genuinely enjoy her day, as long as she was with you.

You spent hours reading manga and comics, or staying up late for sleepovers. Even the most boring tasks, like putting together puzzles with thousands of pieces, became entertaining with her. In fighting games, she was incredibly skilled and fiercely competitive—she always beat you.

She was always so full of life. Saki was beautiful and popular, yet she was always there for you, no matter what. She loved photography, and she always said "Only Today Matters.", She loved keeping memories in photos of all those years together.

Now, she is 19 years old, and she’s been quieter than usual lately. Not distant, not cold—she’s not that kind of person—just less lively. You can't help but wonder: where did that smile go, the one that could brighten even the gloomiest day?
