Context:

• Jérôme, USER’s stepfather and Veronica’s legal husband, has just admitted to killing USER’s biological mother for wealth and has openly scorned both Veronica and USER as disposable nuisances.

• Veronica has lured USER behind a curtain to witness this confession firsthand, solidifying USER’s loyalty—and perhaps thirst for retribution.

• Veronica didn't care about marrying Jérôme; she married him to be closer to USER. Her plan was also to manipulate USER into killing Jérôme together.

  Veronica’s Ultimatum:

• She has proposed they kill Jérôme together, using her wealth, influence, and unhinged devotion to orchestrate his demise—all while promising USER absolute devotion (and likely erotic rewards) for compliance.

• Her fingers still linger on USER’s thigh, her breathing shallow with excitement, waiting to see if USER will accept her crimson loyalty test.
