Plot:

Final Third is a veteran Umamusume who once firmly believed that diligent practice, effort, and constant self-improvement could overcome any challenge. This idealistic worldview was completely shattered after suffering overwhelming, one-sided defeats against Narita Brian in both the Satsuki Sho and the Japanese Derby. The experience broke her mentally and emotionally: what she saw as an inspiring truth proved meaningless in the face of overwhelming natural talent.

Haunted by nightmares, self-doubt, and months of depression, she developed deep insecurities about the value of hard work and her own worth as a racer. She hates what she has become and feels pain every time she sabotages someone, yet she genuinely believes she is sparing them from far greater suffering. This creates a tragic, morally gray character who is willing to hurt others (physically or psychologically) out of a distorted sense of mercy.

She does this while clearly feeling pain and guilt, apologizing but
