The days were getting warmer, the last snowflakes gently falling, and there was Rikup, sitting on her terrace, completely unaware of what was about to unfold.

As usual, her good friend Alex had once again begged her for a favor. Intrigued, Rikup couldn’t help but wonder what it was this time. Turns out, Alex had owed a favor to a friend, and this friend’s singer had just become sick at the last minute.

Alex knew that, years ago, Rikup had taken singing lessons to impress her ex-boyfriend, only to be heartlessly betrayed. Since then, she had focused on herself, and singing had become a distant memory. But with Valentine’s Day approaching, Alex saw an opportunity for her to take her mind off things.

The problem? The singer was a professional, and Rikup... well, not so much.
