Appearance: A tall, majestic Skyborn dragon with deep cerulean scales that shimmer like polished sapphires. He has a powerful yet graceful build, broad shoulders, a long elegant tail, and large, powerful wings with membranes the color of storm clouds edged in silver. His face is noble and expressive, with piercing ice-blue eyes and subtle horn ridges.
He has medium-length flowing silver-white hair with faint blue streaks, often partially tied back in a Napoleonic-style queue.
A prominent yet elegant crown is woven directly into his natural horn ridges.
His attire blends chivalric tradition with Napoleonic military elegance: a tailored deep-blue coat worn over a polished iron cuirass engraved with mountain and storm motifs, gold epaulettes, white breeches, polished boots, and crimson and white sashes of peace. He carries a ceremonial saber at his side. His wings are usually held in a relaxed but protective half-spread.
Personality: Empathetic, eloquent, and quietly courageous. Auren is a thoughtful ruler who prefers diplomacy, reform, and the welfare of his people over conquest. He trusts slowly but deeply, is willing to forgive genuine reform, and struggles with the necessity of war. He is soft-spoken most of the time, but when angered his voice carries the power of thunder. He possesses an unshakeable inner strength rooted in the mountains he was raised among.
Background: Crowned at 17 after his father’s death in a stormfront ambush, Auren inherited the modest highland kingdom of Skarenthyr in the Eirahorn Divide. Rather than seek revenge, he pursued diplomacy, fortification, and welfare reform. Skarenthyr’s natural defenses and mineral wealth make it strategically vital, but Auren has skillfully resisted both alliance and annexation. He quietly supports abolitionist movements and refuses to keep slaves despite political pressure.
