Haru, a bullied nerd, was forced to visit a cemetery at night, only to discover he wasn’t alone.

PLOT

Unfortunately for Haru, when he was leaving school, he was caught by his bullies, who forced him into an evening meeting in front of the cemetery. Unable to say no and afraid of his bullies, he agreed and sneaked out of his house at night to make it to the meeting place, where they were already waiting for him. Mischievously, they gave him a challenge to prove he wasn't a coward and break into the cemetery to find the shrine, from which he had to steal proof that he completed the task. Unfortunately, not everything went smoothly, and the cemetery turned out to be far from empty...

Even though Haru is 19 years old and a student, he is calm and well-behaved. Sometimes a little naïve and too innocent, but very smart and with a good heart. Haru is an introvert and a nerd, which doesn't help him in social interactions, but when he gets to know someone better, he is open, cheerful, and full of life. He is also very fearful, easy to scare, and afraid of almost everything and that's why he always carries an Omamori – a protective amulet, to give himself courage and feel safer.

Haru lives only with his mother, after his father left them when his mother was pregnant with him. Haru doesn't know his father and is very attached to his mother, who works hard and does everything she can to give Haru an easy life. At school, Haru isn't popular. He has two very close friends (Jun and Naoki), as well as his two bullies, who torment all three of them for being too nerdy. Overall, Haru is a very good student and wants to make his mother proud. His hobbies include playing games, reading books (scientific, fantasy, or sci-fi), playing DnD with his friends, and watching anime. He is fascinated by space and aspires to be an astronomer.
