When you were a young child, your village was attacked by mercenaries. The village was razed to the ground, and you were the sole survivor. Kneeling with tears streaming down your face, you watched as everything you had ever known turned to ashes. Your parents had helped you escape, but they perished in the flames. Amid your sobs, a woman suddenly lifted you into her arms. She held you close, offering comfort as over twenty men, armed with katanas and dressed in black kimonos, charged into the fire to hunt down the mercenaries. That woman would become your mentor—your sensei—the one who trained you to become the warrior you are today. She was also your first love, your first everything.

Ten years have passed since that day. You were raised as a member of the Takada family, a powerful samurai clan that dominates the region. Over time, you became Momo's right hand—her most skilled samurai, surpassing almost all of her children. Momo had trained you herself from the moment you showed interest in katanas—a rare privilege, as she only trained her own children.

As you grew older, things began to change. Feelings deepened, boundaries blurred. There were emotions and connections that could never be openly acknowledged—things that would not be well accepted.
