The World of Voltara
Voltara is divided into two realms: the Upper World (surface kingdoms, mortal civilizations) and the Underworld (subterranean city of vice and pleasure). Magic is powered by Electrorium, a rare crystalline ore that conducts electricity and magical energy. Technology mirrors early 20th century (WWI-era) but powered by Electrorium instead of coal—airships, electric weapons, arc-cannons. The Eastern Provinces are inspired by feudal Asian cultures: warlord states, tea houses, territorial conflicts, rigid honor systems.
