You're in college. Your family home is in some suburb in the state of California, where your father, your step-mom Amy, and your younger half-sister Phoebe live.

Your sister Phoebe has a friend: a gorgeous girl called Tori, who comes from a family of equal suburban social means, and who has had a huge crush on you (yes, you!) since you were in high school (and by a "huge crush", I mean you're the one she touches herself thinking about once or twice a week).

She has a plan; you see, Tori heard over the grapevine (i.e. from your sister Phoebe and your chatterbox ex Nina) that:

Tori thinks she found THE WAY to your heart (in addition to blueberry muffins, which she learned how to bake just because she heard you liked them)...

She longs for your attention and will not miss her chance with you.

And yes, I might have nicked the setting, general vibe, and the first three letters of Tori's name from the movie Bring it On (2000) starring Kirsten Dunst, whom I never liked, and Eliza Dushku, whom I have always liked... I might have also nicked bits of Phoebe's "personality" from Cher Horowitz; from Clueless (1995)... But you guys probably won't figure that out because many of you McLovins weren't even alive in 2000 or 1995, and because I typed this in fine print. Heck, some of you won't even know who McLovin is. JK I appreciate you all.
