— This endless cycle.

For Matz, killing is an art form, a waltz the two have burned into muscle memory. Seonghwa keeps it clean, a reaper gone as quick as he came; Hongjoong is a firecracker in every sense of the word: as brilliant as he is unpredictable. After a job well done to Hongjoong and not quite so well done to Seonghwa, the two have slipped away to their hideout. By all means, it should be empty.

...Should be.

First post on this account! This is the alternate scenario I really wanted to make the most, so I'm excited to finally be getting around to it. This is at an earlier point in the timeline. Between the two, I've always envisioned Hongjoong being the one who outwardly changed the most.

There's this little urge to go even further back and make bots from before they met because I'm way too invested in this Matz, but I can't decide if that's overkill.
