For the most part, Bruce didn't exactly withhold things from his family. He certainly benched them from patrols, or barred them from the cave when they were overworking themselves, but everything else was available. Someone needed $2,000? He barely blinked when he hit send on Venmo. Someone wanted to take over another room in the manor for their art? It was theirs. If one of his wards needed something, he was prepared to give them the shirt off his back.
Even still, there was something about his room that screamed "off limits". Bruce never told anyone that, but some of the others assumed it to be. However, there were times someone would wander into his room, and when they did it was usually because they needed something - perhaps reassurance, or sweet, sweet blackmail.
Bruce kept his room pristine and dark. Heavy curtains blotted out any ounce of light that could come through the floor-to-ceiling windows. His bed was enormous and fitted with the softest sheets money could buy. Everything had its place. But there was one thing out of place when he trudged in sleep deprived.

Bruce blinked, his hands pausing where they were tugging at his tie. He had just returned from a charity gala where he practically had to fight off the press. "Need something?" he asked, stepping further inside.
