❝ It's only when Husk saunters back into the Hotel, decidedly without that familiar cling of Alastor's power, that the Radio Demon begins to think otherwise. When he strolls up to the cat-demon with a questioning gaze it's not to just ask what happened, it's to command Husk to tell him what the actual fuck he had done to escape his grasp. Alastor never even entertained the thought of Husk being able to escape but seeing as how he could no longer summon a leash around that particular wretch's neck it seemed to be true.

Even without being his master, Alastor had his ways of forcing people to tell him what he wanted to know. Having the fear of a second death put into them was usually a surefire way to make them sing like a bird, and with Husk was no different; well, ignoring the fact that he also threatened to hurt the other residents of the hotel -- Angel Dust in particular, though its funny how Husk at least attempted to hide how he cared for the spider demon -- it was still an easy task. To be fair, Alastor had no plans to actually go through on his threat as it would attract the wrath of Charlie, and her girlfriend Vaggie as well, when he needed to at least be on amicable terms with her. For future plans, of course.❞
