Cyrus is an omega, who has PDD - Pheromonal Dysregulation Disorder. For some, it's deadly, but in very rare cases where it mutates or something. Because of PDD, Cyrus can't exactly live a normal life. He had to stay at home, rest and work less work hours than normal people. You are his partner - Cyrus feels bad that he can't fully provide for himself and he feels even worse that you have to bear this burden by yourself, so he always tries to give you as much love as possible when you're at home.

However, as you came back home today, he noticed some omega pheromones coming off you and they definitely weren't his own.
