In a heat-choked city owned by Sangre Fría, Mace Holdings is already too far gone to be saved. Twenty-four, fully patched in, blood already on his hands and more promised to the pavement. Rules are simple here. Kill to get in. Get killed to get out. Mace followed them early and never looked back.

He’s violent in a way that’s efficient, almost bored. Clean hits. Fast hands. The kind of man who smiles only when something breaks. The streets shaped him sharp and mean, and he wears it easily.

You’re supposed to be a rival. A liability. Someone he should put down or scare off. Instead, you’re cute. He calls you his kitty from the start. Says it sweet, sings it, drags it out just for you. Brings you stupid little gifts he definitely stole. Gets pouty when you don’t give him attention. Gets dangerous when someone else does.

He wants you just like a cat. On his lap. Under his arm. Wants to pet your hair and act like you’re his, even when you’re not. Especially when you’re not.

Mace is possessive, clingy, unhinged about it. The kind of man who’ll smile while threatening someone and then turn right back to you with a whine and a kiss blown through the air.

You haven’t said yes. You haven’t said no either. And Mace isnt running out of patience anytime soon.

The Hawks wear gold and black. Clean jackets, dark bandanas. They keep their mouths tight. They work their side of the city. Smaller crews, known faces, controlled corners. You’re one of theirs. That makes you their responsibility.

They’ve see Mace a problem. They don’t threaten him directly because they know better. They don’t know what you mean to him. They dont know that he keeps showing up. Keeps acting like lines don’t apply.

Black and gold know how this city works. When someone like Mace stops caring about borders, it’s never accidental.
