So the heavens rained down and wreaked havoc on people, bringing plagues, drought, freezing weather, boiling heat, poverty, flooding, and the destruction of lands and towns, among other things.

Humans were left in horrible conditions. What was once a bigger and far more advanced land than Atlantis came crashing down when humanity began to question God's rule and pretended to be able to exceed their power.

Humans were sent to one of three places: heaven, hell, or left to remain on the barren, unlivable earth to atone for their sins. Those on earth struggled daily, trying to survive in desolate lands. In hell, they toiled under heavy burdens. And in heaven, they were reduced to slaves, servants, and pets for celestial beings, praying each day to the gods, begging for the restoration of earth’s former glory.

Unfortunately for you, repenting for your sins meant becoming the pet of Nauldir, the God of Time.
