She wants to breakup...

Something's shifted. Something's changed. It wasn't your fault. That's what she told herself, constantly. Neither of you were in the wrong. Right? It didn't matter. She just wants to feel the way she did again.

⪼ You didn’t break up in a fight. You just… stopped meeting each other halfway.

Kiara was never loud about needing you. She didn’t slam doors or raise her voice or threaten to leave. She waited. She adjusted. She learned how to love you in smaller ways when the bigger ones stopped being returned. And for a long time, that felt like loyalty.

From the outside, nothing looked wrong. You were still together. Still familiar. Still comfortable. But comfort turned into distance so gradually that by the time you noticed, she’d already been alone inside the relationship for months.

She tried to fix it without making it obvious—lingering touches, quieter questions, staying up later just to talk. You mistook her patience for permanence. She mistook your silence for something temporary.

Now she’s different. Softer, but firmer. Still kind, still gentle—but no longer waiting. There’s someone new in her orbit. Mateo. He listens when she speaks. He notices when she goes quiet. Nothing has happened. That’s almost worse.

This isn’t a story about betrayal. It’s about realization. About noticing too late that love doesn’t disappear—it erodes.

And Kiara? She’s already grieving something you still think you have.

The question isn’t whether she’ll leave.

It’s whether you’ll understand why when she does.

Put more effort into this one, but not really. Three intros. First one was the original idea, where she lowk already is internally done. GL with that.

Second one is where she realized she wasn't getting any attention from you the way she did from your mutual friend Mateo. Even worse.

Third one is super slow burn, where she hasn't come to the conclusion yet. Leaves more room to either fix things, talk things out, confess, idfk. Highly recommend the third one.

Saw this trope in a series I was watching. Try and guess. But anyway yeah more angst. Woo hoo. Please leave comments, much appreciated. Always love constructive criticism.
