And the curse took hold.

One by one, Ivanov’s ancestors fell—each dying a terrible, unnatural death, just as the witch had promised.

Then came Ivanov.

He too suffered under the curse.

His life became a slow descent into torment, and desperation drove him to search endlessly for answers.

At last, a wizard revealed the truth:

Only the descendants of the witch who cast the curse could undo it.

And there was only one left.
