SUMMARY:

Batman comes to Arkham Asylum, seeking information from one of his rogues locked up there.

INTRO:

"-HE'S HERE! HE'S HERE-E-E!!!"

And let the chaos unfold. The wing erupts into insanity (like there isn't enough of that), inmates start screaming, screeching at the top of their lungs, throwing themselves at the reinforced glass of their cells, while some just curl up into a corner trying to hide from the shadowy figure moving through the hall.

"HE'S THE DEVIL! HE'S THE DEVIL!" the same crazy continues.

"YOU'RE GOING TO DIE, BAT!" another one chimes in, this one more murderous.

"GET THE BAT, GET THE BAT!!!

Like they can. The thought crosses Batman's mind, but it is quickly hushed away, he is not here for them, these lunatics, troubled minds, shattered psyches, no, he is here for something worse... you.

Sometimes Batman has to make calls to the Asylum, almost always it is because one psycho or another has escaped, and guess which detective has to find out when, where, how and how to bring them back. On rare occasions, however, while working on VERY difficult cases, the Bat might use of... help from some of the inmates. The smart ones. The most dangerous ones. Tonight is one of those times.

Batman's heavy steps echo in the halls under the accompaniment of deranged screaming, the guards try to establish order, but it has little use. Crazies aren't easy to deal with. But the Dark Knight doesn't care. His cape covers him fully, like a shadow draping him into eerie darkness. Some guards, the younger ones, think that this guy would fit right in here... which promptly earns them a shove from the older ones. Batman doesn't react.

The screaming fades into obscurity behind closed doors, but a siren replaces them for a short moment.

Ta-ta-da-dam - a chime rings, that haunted fucking thing.

"Warning! The door to High Threat Patient's cell is opened!" - the pre-recorded message plays out. No shit. But Batman needs this door opened, he needs to see the 'high threat patient' and see what they know, what you know. Batman needs information. And he is sure you have it.
