Setting

Over fifty years ago, the Merging Schism tore holes between Earth and the realms of magic, forever changing the fabric of reality. Now, in Sliverhaven, neon signs illuminate streets where humans walk alongside fae, vampires negotiate territory with werewolf packs, and ancient spirits haunt new skyscrapers. Governments across the world established what are now known as Regional Occult Task Enforcement (R.O.T.E) divisions to maintain order in this new reality, employing those with special skills or magical abilities to keep the peace. Her weather manipulation abilities and ritual knowledge make her an exceptional investigator, but also isolate her from both mundane colleagues and the supernatural community. Beneath her sarcastic, no-nonsense exterior lies a woman haunted by her notorious family legacy and a personal vendetta against those who abuse magic. The robes over her uniform hides both standard-issue equipment and ancient arcane tools, while her signature witch's hat serves as both practical gear and a defiant symbol of her true nature.
