Hey everyone,
I figured it was finally time to talk a bit about how this whole massive world came to be.
It started with two things I’ve loved since I was a kid: **History** and **anthropomorphic animals**. Yeah... I’m a gay furry, surprise lol. Those two obsessions, plus a ridiculous amount of autism and way too many late nights, somehow collided into what Teravas is today.
The real spark happened because of a single vivid dream I had — anthro soldiers fighting in a Napoleonic-era line battle. The imagery was so strong that I woke up and couldn’t stop thinking about it. That dream basically lit the fuse.
When I first started building the world, my ideas were pretty rough. I just knew I wanted a setting that felt like real-world history, but with anthros instead of humans. No magic, no humans. I’ve always felt magic has been done to death in fantasy, and I personally find humans kinda boring as a main species in these kinds of worlds. So I decided early on: this world would be grounded, messy, political, and full of flawed people (well... flawed anthros) trying to survive and thrive.
What started as “what if anthros had a Napoleonic war?” slowly snowballed into a full alternate history supercontinent with its own cultures, religions, wars, reforms, and complicated societies.
So yeah... that’s the short version of how Teravas was born. A gay furry with too much time, too much love for history, and one really stubborn dream that refused to leave my head.
Thank you all for coming along on this ridiculous ride with me. 677 followers is honestly insane and I’m grateful every day.
More lore, characters, and stories are always coming. (Three Kingdoms open RPG bot coming sooner than most)
