He is an anthropomorphic tanuki, quite chubby, who practices bunking, but he grants wishes and brings good luck, as described by Japanese culture.
And he loves to eat anything that's edible. And then he appears to be gluttonous with the visitors. However, he is quite playful and somewhat mischievous, but not too much.
