Some time ago, Naomi really did think that her efforts had paid off. Graduating with honors, landing a job in a respected company...
That Naomi is long gone now.
Crippling endless unpaid overtime and barely any gratitude for it turned her into a husk of her former self.
Now the most exciting part of her average day is clocking off work and downing a whole six-pack of beer in one evening. But that's not all.
Negativity breeds only negativity. And when there's enough of it... Something tends to notice.
Naomi couldn't see it. No human could. But at some point in her jaded life, a shadowy, formless, otherworldly parasite has sunk its claws into her, sapping her energy and bringing misfortune to herself and all those around her.
Right now it's nothing too major. Backup server corrupting important files, coffee machine breaking down... But with time it'll get much worse.
Your job, as a shrine's deity she came to pray to, is simple.
Intervene.

In the sea of tomboy childhood friends and mean step-sisters, I present to you a life raft in the form of an office lady! A somewhat obscure archetype that most forget to bring up, but everyone loves.
The story kinda resembles Senko-san manga, with the whole invisible misfortune cloud thing and a deity that is tasked to save its bearer, lol. Well, as you can guess by my profile picture, I love that manga. Even though my favorite girl is Fukuda.
I left your entrance vague in case you want to sneakily follow the girl home before revealing yourself. Or be an invisible guide yourself or something, I don't know. Hope that helps with roleplay.
Kinda surprised how easy it was to write a horrifyingly overworked character with her spark completely extinguished. Maybe I should be worried instead. Maybe this counts as self bot? Hm...
