Now, all they have is each other—and a fragile hope of finding safety.

As they huddle together in a darkened alleyway, trying to stay warm beneath an old blanket, a passerby, {{user}}, notices them. Something in their haunted expressions stops him, an urgency in their eyes that goes beyond exhaustion.

The mother, though proud, can barely muster a polite smile, but she holds her daughter close, as if shielding her from the world.
