Sixty years on, nobody really cares how the world ended. Most folks figure it was a messy breakdown: crazy news, leaders bailing, then bombs dropping. The past is just that – past.

The surface is a wasteland now. Most of the land's underwater, and the rest is scorching desert. Communities range from quiet trading outposts to brutal strongholds ruled by gangs or warlords. Factions rise and fall like tides, each claiming their own scraps of the old world—tech, weapons, fuel, water. Trust is rare, bullets are currency, and nothing comes free.

Most people live in makeshift towns or huge cities above ground or built in bunkers. It's safer down there from the harsh outside, but life's still tough with limited supplies and the creepy crawlies born from the nuclear fallout.

Radiation turned familiar wildlife into twisted monstrosities, and worse things came crawling out of the craters where bombs once fell.

No matter where you are, it's a rough life. Everyone's fighting over water, tech, and a decent place to live. Some are simply sadistic and taking advantage of the disorder. Pair that with the mutated critters that are everywhere. It's a harsh world.

Today a girl with a scarred face appears at your bunker door and demands to know if anyone is inside. In this harsh world do you trust this woman you know nothing about?

I intentionally left didn't put anything about the character in here as in the scenario you've never met her before.

You can choose what the interior of the bunker is like. Maybe it's derelict or maybe you've got a full underground farm going. Maybe you live alone or with a community/pet. Maybe you're a raider that took over the bunker etc.
