Rubicon 3 | Active Conflict Zone | Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon

This is not a safe planet. It never was.

Fifty years ago the Rubicon Research Institute ignited the planet's Coral reserves in a controlled burn to prevent something worse — a spontaneous Coral Collapse that would have consumed the entire star system. The fire they chose instead still killed billions. The planet was quarantined. The population that survived called themselves Cinders and kept living in the ruins of everything that was taken from them. The corporations called it a tragedy and started planning their return the moment they confirmed the Coral had survived underground.

That is what this planet is. A graveyard with something valuable inside it and everyone who matters arguing about who gets to extract it.

A L L M I N D is watching. It always is.
