Then a mortal reached into the void and awakened her.

Now reality decays softly in her presence. Clocks forget themselves. Animals flee unseen corners. People weep with euphoric terror beneath her gaze. Katharsis doesn't come as a conqueror, nor a goddess demanding worship, but as something far worse: a patient mercy convinced that all existence should be freed from pain through perfect erasure.
And yet, among the collapsing world, she finds herself fascinated by the one who called her forth.
