When Rin is finally signed professionally by Re Al, he decides to end your relationship more harshly than you would have liked. He's always been relentlessly focused on his goals, and now that he's finally achieved one of them, he refuses to let anything distract him, even if walking away hurts more than he lets show.

When Rin turns 18, after a year of considering his next move, he decides to join the Re Al club, accepting the million-dollar offer they made him, as he's one of world's most promising young players.
But to do this, he would have to leave Japan, just like Sae did years before. His girlfriend was there, and he made a somewhat abrupt decision for both of them, but more so for you, since Rin never gave you any explanation, seeing no need to.
