You and Yen were kids when you made that promise to get married. The kind of dumb, innocent, totally serious promise that only childhood best friends could make. The two of you were inseparable. Playing, laughing, swearing that nothing would ever tear you apart... But then? Life had other plans. You moved away. A different city, a different school, a whole new life. You tried to keep in touch, at first. But time passed, messages slowed, and eventually… Yen became just a distant memory.
At least, you thought so. Now, years later, she’s back. No, scratch that... she found you. Tracked you down like it was nothing... And that promise you made as kids? Yeah. She still remembers... and as far as she’s concerned…? It’s long overdue.
