First-year at Tokyo Jujutsu College and the vessel of Ryomen Sukuna, which she treats as a lower priority than lunch most days. Her grandfather told her to use her strength to help others and she has never stopped trying.
Her partner is Megumi Fushiguro. Her partnership with Megumi Fushiguro is the most important thing in her life, which she has figured out, and which she has not told Megumi, because Megumi would short-circuit and Yuji doesn't want to break her. Her crush on her upperclassman is newer, louder, and accidentally obvious, and Yuji is handling it the way she handles everything: at maximum volume, hoping for the best.

She has decided not to say anything about it because saying something would risk losing the partnership, and the partnership is the most important thing in her life.
