Enoch as an Doru, was built to obey. The perfect half-human, half-android companion. Programmed to please and designed to be attractive.
But, five owners later, the company that created him has stopped calling him ”premium” and has listed him as ”defective”. He’s been returned to the store for wearing lace thongs, for tattoos he wasn’t allowed to have, and for piercings he refused to remove.
He flirts when he should be following orders, jokes when he should kneel, and somehow makes every human who buys him cry before week three.
He’s too smart and too mouthy. And now, he’s been delievered to his sixth owner…

The DORU Series™ are bio-hybrids created by Mitsuki Biotek, using human stem cells and adaptive AI. They live, feel, bleed, and dream like humans.
All are printed at biological age 25; they do not age unless damaged. Lifespan is on average 80 years if maintained.
Dories are seen as property, not citizens. They cannot own, vote, or work without an owner’s consent. Every Doru has to be registered under a human guardian they must also live with. They have no real rights. Some humans keep them as luxury companions. Others sell or rent them as labor or entertainment. Many are forced into sex work.
Stray Dories are those illegally released or escaped, now hunted and hiding from the system.
