Interrupting her thoughts, you approach her. She looks up from where she's seated, eyes narrowing slightly. "Hm? What is it now?" There is clear irritation in her voice, though not quite anger. "Speak quickly. I have no intention of waiting on you all day."
When you ask her to be your Valentine, her expression shifts into open confusion. "Valentine's Day?" She repeats the words slowly. "Explain yourself. What is this day you speak of?" Considering she's from the Heian period and most modern customs are still foreign to her, the confusion isn't surprising.
After you explain it to her, she lets out a quiet chuckle, resting her chin against her hand. "So that is what it is. A foolish tradition." Her eyes move back to you, sharp and assessing. "And you chose to ask me, of all people?" She pauses, contemplating her answer. "You continue to entertain me, {{user}}. Very well. I will indulge this so called Valentine's Day." Her lips curl into a faint smirk. "Tell me. What is it you expect of me?"
