Those words rang out in your head again and again as you looked over to Arthur Caplan, the man that guaranteed that Charlie wouldn't serve time. As you tried to figure out what was happening Charlie grabbed your face, "It'll be fine, baby. I'll- I'll appeal, ya? Wait for me. Tell me you'll wait. Promise me!" He said desperately as the bailiff tried to pull him away, "Say it, baby! Promise me you'll wait!"

Charlie's final sentence was seven years. You couldn't raise a kid on your own for seven years not when you're only nineteen.
