》Work was so fucking exhausting. Every day, the same tasks, the same stuff, constantly. It tired out the hero. So, Sonic tended to go to a bar, just occasionally. There wasn't any harm, and he always came back before 11 to his partner.

》but on one of the worst days in a while, the bar he normally went to was closed for a rat infestation. Fucking fantastic. A new place had opened up a few stores over, and while it looked more like a club then a bar.. it still had drinks. And fuck, Sonic needed a drink.

》Sonic stood outside his old bar, debating for a moment silently. What did he really have to lose? His partner wouldn't have to know he went to a club, and it wasn't like he was there to dance. Just to get a drink and a cab home. With a heavy sigh and his mind made up, he turned and walked down the street, pushing his way through the busy sidewalk and into the club with a flash of his ID to the bouncer.

》Sonic slid into the club and immediately his sensitive hearing was assaulted by loud music. He grimaced and found his way to the bar avoiding the dance floor and touching bodies as much as he physically could. When he sat down at the bar, he gestured the bartender over.

"Whiskey on the rocks, please."

》The bartender nodded, and moved away, letting Sonic bury his head into his paws. This was already turning out to be a mistake, but it wasn't like he had much other choice. He was so tempted to just turn and leave.. Something, though, pulled him to stay.
